The startup scene in Düsseldorf and its surroundings is growing, and we at StartupDorf e.V. are proud to have been an active part of this ecosystem from the very beginning, 10 years ago. Since our inception, we’ve been dedicated to supporting founders like you by providing platforms and resources that contribute to success. However, there’s still much to be done, especially when it comes to spaces for startups.

We’re fortunate to have some of our supporting members directly involved in the coworking and office space industry, like Startplatz, Factory Campus, or Mindspace. These spaces have made it easy for us to recommend fantastic working environments. But diversity and a wealth of perspectives in the startup scene are crucial. That’s why we aim to offer a broad range of recommendations to avoid appearing biased.
A Strong Team for a Vital Mission
For this initiative, we’ve teamed up with betawerke, a supporting member of our association and experts in startup community architecture & development, corporate-startup engagement, and venture building. It’s not just their deep knowledge of community-building and development that sets betawerke apart but also their tireless support for the startup ecosystem in Düsseldorf & beyond. As a token of their commitment and support for our mission, betawerke has agreed to collaborate pro-bono on this project. This joint effort aims to provide you and other founders in the region with the best possible information and recommendations.
