As non-for profit association within the startup ecosystem in the Metropolregion Düsseldorf, we interact with all players to make one of the most exciting economic regions in Germany to a first tier startup hub of Europe. To achieve this goal, it needs not only us, we need additionally strong partners!

StartupDorf organizes events in four strategic work areas of the association, which are also oriented to the different phases of the development of a startup (stages). From the ideating phase, the concepting phase, the founding and validation phase, the growth phase (scailing), to the established company and the possible exit scenarios. Within these phases and our focus areas, StartupDorf has built a portfolio of event formats and programs over the years, as well as completed several events with collaborative partners.
For you as an individual supporting member there are many ways in which you can get involved on top of your membership. You can choose from several programs, if interest and capacity is given. Programs, such as Dorfschule, uplevel mentoring and the startup benefit program help you get into interaction with startups.
Startup Members in total. Some had an Exit, some moved away, some have ceased their operations.
Startup Pitches in total. Approx 30+ StartupDorf Unicorn Pitches over the last years.
Supporting Members in total. A few have quit. Unfortunately, few are now only oriented in Berlin.
Keynote Speakers, Founders, Experts presenting in German and English language.
Mentors in total, including serial entrepreneurs, startup veterans & c-level and senior executives.
Guests, Startup People primarily from the NRW-wide ecosystem, as well as from Benelux.
Over the years, in addition to our approximately 130 corporate members, more than 5,000 attendees and over 170 speakers have participated in our events.
