The StartupDorf Unicorn Pitch Series
The Düsseldorf startup pitch competition enters its fourth year. In its fourth consecutive year, the StartupDorf e.V. Unicorn Pitches will continue with four events spread throughout the year. In May, July, September, and November, digital startups from all over Germany, with a special focus on NRW, will compete in Düsseldorf for a spot in the annual pitch finale.
The fourth Pitch Competition Series of NRW’s oldest startup association kicks off this year on May 15th. Up to four startups, younger than 3 years, will have the chance to pitch their innovative digital products to an audience, aiming to garner the most votes with their presentations.
During the competition, founders have 5 minutes to present their startups, followed by a 5-minute Q&A round to prove themselves again.
The winner will receive the Unicorn Trophy, StartupDorf e.V. mentoring, and will qualify for the Unicorn Pitch Grand Final in spring 2025.

This idea of promoting innovation and providing a platform for startups was the impetus for developing what is now the StartupDorf Unicorn Pitch. The pitch competition has since matured into a highlight of the event calendar, culminating each year in the Grand Final.
