Last Unicorn Pitch of 2025 – Six Startups, Two Winners and Pizza
On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, StartupDorf e.V. once again invited founders, investors and startup enthusiasts to Mindspace Düsseldorf for the next milestone of its Unicorn Pitch series – six startups, five minutes on stage, and one goal: the grand finale.
Six Startups, Six Visions
The stage belonged to six innovative teams, each with just five minutes to convince both the jury and the audience of their ideas:
- Akteo with Gianluca Salierno
- chunkx with Theresa Voß
- OJIRA Soft with Michael Onwuatuegwu
- Kregtech with Chiachun Hsieh
- Space Era Germany with Kaif Ali
- FLEXXI with Lejla Hadzimuratovic
A diverse mix of industries, languages, and perspectives: three pitches in German, three in English – with founders traveling from Berlin, Munich, Cologne, Düsseldorf, und beyond. This diversity once again highlights how vibrant and international the startup scene in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) has become. ♥️
The Jury: Experience Meets Innovation
The jury combined entrepreneurial experience with a sharp eye for innovation:
Susanne Kremeier – Future designer, supporting startups in their transition from idea to scalable business model
Thomas E. Hollwedel – Business Angel and digital advisor with over 25 years of experience in innovation and IoT
Eugenia Gagin und Michail Kosak from the StartupDorf team, who also moderated the evening

Together, the panel evaluated not only creativity and innovation, but also the ability to turn ideas into sustainable businesses – just as the Unicorn Pitch format intends.
The Winners: FLEXXI and chunkx Advance to the Grande Finale
After exciting pitches and a close decision, two startups stood out:
Audience Winner: FLEXXI Care (Lejla Hadzimuratovic)
Jury Winner: chunkx (Theresa Voß)
Both impressed in their own way: FLEXXI with a practical and impactful approach to elderly care, and chunkx with an innovative learning technology solution. Congratulations to both teams on their well-deserved entry into the Unicorn Pitch Finale 2025/26.
